Turn on the printer and make sure it is connected to your computer or Wi-Fi
Place the document face down on the scanner glass or in the automatic document feeder
Close the scanner lid if using the glass
Open the printer’s scanning software on your computer or mobile device
Select the scan option
Choose the scan settings such as file type, color, resolution, and destination
Preview the scan if available
Start the scan
Save the scanned file to your preferred location
Check the scanned document to make sure it is clear and complete
