Locate the water filter compartment
Turn off the water supply if needed
Press the release button or open the filter cover
Turn the old filter counterclockwise or pull it out, depending on the model
Remove the old filter
Unwrap the new filter
Align the new filter with the slot
Insert the new filter fully
Turn the new filter clockwise or push it in until it locks, depending on the model
Close the filter cover
Run water through the dispenser for several minutes
Flush several gallons of water if required by the model
Reset the filter indicator light if needed
