Wash the headlights with soap and water
Dry the headlights completely
Mask off the paint around the headlights with painter’s tape
Wet-sand the lens with 1000-grit sandpaper
Wet-sand again with 1500-grit sandpaper
Wet-sand again with 2000-grit sandpaper
Keep the surface wet while sanding
Wipe away the residue with a clean microfiber cloth
Apply headlight polishing compound
Buff the lens with a clean microfiber cloth or polishing pad
Apply a UV sealant or headlight protectant
Let the sealant cure as directed
Repeat the process if the haze remains
Replace the headlight lens or assembly if damage is severe
