Empty the washer completely
Remove any laundry from the drum
Add 2 cups of white vinegar to the detergent dispenser or directly into the drum
Run a hot water cycle
Pause the cycle halfway if possible and let the vinegar sit for 30 to 60 minutes
Resume and finish the cycle
Sprinkle 1/2 cup of baking soda into the drum
Run another hot water cycle
Wipe down the drum, door, gasket, and detergent drawer with a clean cloth
Clean the detergent dispenser and any removable parts separately
Leave the washer door open to air dry
Repeat once a month if needed
