Unplug the washing machine
Remove all clothes from the drum
Take out the detergent drawer and rinse it with warm water
Wipe the detergent drawer compartment with a damp cloth
Clean the rubber door seal with a cloth and mild detergent
Remove lint, hair, and debris from the seal folds
Check and clean the drain pump filter
Run an empty hot wash cycle
Add white vinegar or a washing machine cleaner to the drum
Add baking soda to the drum if needed
Clean the inside of the door and drum with a soft cloth
Wipe the exterior of the machine
Clean the top, buttons, and control panel with a damp cloth
Leave the door open after cleaning to air dry
Repeat the deep clean monthly or as needed
