Open the case of your AirPods near your iPhone
Keep the AirPods inside the case and make sure the iPhone’s Bluetooth is on
Tap Connect on the iPhone prompt
If prompted, tap Done
If no prompt appears, go to Settings > Bluetooth
Open the AirPods case near the iPhone and press and hold the setup button on the back of the case until the light flashes white
Select your AirPods from the Devices list
Tap Connect
To switch audio, open Control Center and select your AirPods under the audio output controls
To disconnect, tap the audio output button in Control Center and select iPhone
To reconnect later, open the AirPods case near the iPhone or select them in Settings > Bluetooth
