Turn on the Canon PIXMA printer
Make sure the Wi-Fi router is on and working
Place the printer near the router during setup
Press the Wi-Fi button on the printer
Hold the Wi-Fi button until the Wi-Fi lamp starts flashing
Press the WPS button on your router within 2 minutes
Wait until the Wi-Fi lamp on the printer stops flashing and stays lit
If your router does not support WPS, open the printer’s setup menu
Select Wireless LAN setup or Wi-Fi setup
Choose your Wi-Fi network name
Enter the Wi-Fi password
Confirm the connection
Print a network status page if needed to verify the connection
Install the Canon printer software on your computer or phone
Add the printer in your device’s printer settings
Test by printing a page
