Make sure your iPhone, iPad, or Mac has Bluetooth turned on
Put the AirPods in the charging case
Open the charging case lid
Hold the case near your device
Wait for the setup animation to appear on the screen
Tap Connect
Follow any on-screen prompts
If using AirPods Pro or AirPods Max, complete any additional setup steps
If the animation does not appear, press and hold the setup button on the case until the light flashes white
Open Bluetooth settings on your device if needed
Select your AirPods from the list of available devices
Confirm the connection if prompted
