Preheat the oven to 400°F
Pat the pork tenderloin dry with paper towels
Trim any silver skin or excess fat
Rub the tenderloin with oil
Season all over with salt, pepper, and any desired spices
Place the tenderloin on a baking sheet or in a roasting pan
Optional: sear the tenderloin in a hot skillet for 2 to 3 minutes per side
Transfer to the oven
Roast for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F
Remove from the oven
Let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes
Slice and serve
