Preheat the oven to 400°F
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it
Place the crab cakes on the baking sheet
Brush the tops lightly with melted butter or oil
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes
Flip the crab cakes halfway through if desired
Bake until golden brown and heated through
Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F
Remove from the oven
Serve immediately
