Create or log in to your account with each bureau
Verify your identity with the required personal information
Set a unique PIN or password if required
Confirm the freeze has been placed on your credit file
Save the confirmation number or freeze reference details
Repeat the process for all three bureaus
Keep your PIN or password in a secure place
Lift or remove the freeze later using the same bureau account or PIN
