Wash the mango
Place the mango on a cutting board
Identify the flat pit in the center
Cut off one side of the mango, about a quarter inch from the center
Cut off the other side of the mango, about a quarter inch from the center
Cut the remaining flesh from around the pit
Score the flesh of each mango half in a grid pattern without cutting through the skin
Push the skin side up to pop the cubes outward
Slice the cubes off the skin with a knife or spoon them out
Cut any remaining flesh from the pit and peel if needed
