Open Gmail
Select the message or messages you want to delete
Click the Delete icon
To delete all messages in a conversation, open the conversation and click Delete
To delete messages from search results, search for the emails, select them, and click Delete
To delete messages on mobile, open the Gmail app, select the message, and tap Delete
To permanently remove deleted messages, open the Trash folder and click Empty Trash now
To delete all emails in a label or category, open the label or category, select all messages, and click Delete
