Open Gmail in a web browser
Sign in to your account
Go to the folder or label you want to clear
Click the checkbox at the top left to select all visible emails
Click the link that appears to select all conversations in the folder
Click the Delete icon
To delete all emails in Gmail, repeat the process in each folder or use search filters to target specific emails
Empty the Trash folder to permanently remove the emails
On mobile, open the Gmail app
Select emails by long-pressing one message, then tap additional messages
Tap the Delete icon
Use search terms like older_than:1y or has:attachment to delete emails in bulk
Use category tabs like Promotions or Social to delete grouped emails faster
