Open the group text
Tap the group name or details at the top
Find the person you want to remove
Tap their name or info
Select Remove from Group or Delete Contact
Confirm the removal if prompted
If no remove option appears, ask the group creator or admin to remove them
If the group uses SMS/MMS and does not support removal, create a new group without that person
