Open the group text message
Tap the group name or details at the top
Look for Leave Conversation, Exit Group, or Remove Me
Tap the option to leave the group
If no leave option appears, mute the conversation
On iPhone, turn on Hide Alerts for the group
On Android, turn off notifications for the group
Ask the group admin or sender to remove you
Block the sender if the messages are unwanted
Delete the conversation from your messages app
