Open the group text
Tap the group name or details
Look for Leave this conversation or Exit group
Tap Leave or Remove myself
If the option is missing, mute the conversation
Turn off notifications for the group
Ask the group admin to remove you
Block the group if needed
Delete the conversation from your messages
On iPhone, leave only if it is an iMessage group with three or more people
On Android, use the group settings or mute options if leaving is not available
