Open the group text thread
Tap the group name or details at the top
Look for the list of participants
Select the person you want to remove
Tap Remove, Delete, or Remove from Group
Confirm the action if prompted
If no remove option appears, only the group creator or admin may be able to remove people
If you are not the admin, ask the group admin to remove the person
If the app does not allow removing members, create a new group without that person
