Open the group text thread
Tap the group name or details at the top
Look for the member list
Select the person you want to remove
Tap Remove from Group or Remove Contact
Confirm the removal
If you cannot remove members, ask the group admin to do it
If you want to leave the group yourself, tap Leave Group or Exit Group
