Turn off the Keurig and unplug it
Remove the water reservoir, lid, filter, and any pods
Empty the drip tray and discard any water in the reservoir
Fill the reservoir with equal parts white vinegar and water
Place a large mug on the drip tray
Run a brew cycle without a pod
Repeat until the reservoir is empty, discarding the liquid after each cycle
Let the machine sit for 30 minutes
Rinse the reservoir thoroughly
Fill the reservoir with fresh water
Run multiple brew cycles with fresh water only
Repeat until the vinegar smell is gone
Reassemble the machine
Plug it back in and use normally
