If there is no author, use the website or organization name: (CDC, 2023)
If there is no date, use n.d.: (Smith, n.d.)
If you are quoting directly, include the page, paragraph, or section number if available: (Smith, 2023, para. 4)
If the author’s name is mentioned in the sentence, put only the year in parentheses: Smith (2023) states that…
For two authors, include both last names joined by “and” or “&” depending on the style: (Smith & Jones, 2023)
For three or more authors, use the first author’s last name followed by “et al.”: (Smith et al., 2023)
