Gather Gel X tips, nail glue/gel, nail dehydrator, primer, nail file, buffer, cuticle pusher, LED/UV lamp, and alcohol wipe
Wash hands and sanitize tools
Push back cuticles and remove dead skin from the nail plate
Lightly buff the natural nail surface
Shape the natural nails and remove dust
Apply nail dehydrator to each nail
Apply primer if needed and let it dry
Select the correct Gel X tip size for each nail
Roughen the inside of each tip where it will contact the natural nail
Apply a thin layer of gel adhesive to the natural nail or inside of the tip
Place the tip at the cuticle area and press down gently
Remove any excess gel from the sides and cuticle area
Flash cure each nail under the lamp
Fully cure all nails under the lamp for the recommended time
Trim and shape the tips to the desired length and style
File the surface and edges for smoothness
Apply gel color if desired and cure each layer
Apply top coat and cure
Wipe off the tacky layer if needed
Apply cuticle oil and moisturize hands
