Wash and dry your hands
Gently file the shiny top layer of the gel polish
Soak cotton balls in acetone
Place a soaked cotton ball on each nail
Wrap each fingertip with aluminum foil or use nail clips
Wait 10 to 15 minutes
Check one nail and gently lift softened gel with a cuticle pusher or orangewood stick
Rewrap and soak longer if the gel is still hard
Buff away any remaining residue lightly
Apply cuticle oil and hand moisturizer
Do not peel or force the gel off
Stop if you feel pain, burning, or see nail damage
