Select the text you want to make subscript
Click Format
Hover over Text
Click Subscript
Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + , on Windows or ChromeOS
Use the keyboard shortcut Command + , on Mac
To turn subscript off, repeat the same steps or use the shortcut again
