Install the Grammarly extension from the Chrome Web Store
Sign in to your Grammarly account
Open Google Docs in Google Chrome
Make sure the Grammarly extension is enabled in Chrome
Refresh the Google Docs page
Click the Grammarly icon in the browser toolbar if needed
Start typing in Google Docs and let Grammarly check your writing
