Open Instagram and find the Reel you want to save
Tap the share icon or three-dot menu on the Reel
Select Download, Save, or Save to device if available
If no download option appears, use Instagram’s Save feature to bookmark it inside the app
On Android, you can also use your phone’s screen recording feature to capture the Reel
On iPhone, use the built-in screen recording feature to capture the Reel
If you want the Reel in your gallery, stop the screen recording after the Reel ends
Open your Gallery or Photos app to find the saved video
You can also use a trusted third-party Reel downloader by copying the Reel link and pasting it into the tool
After downloading, check your gallery or downloads folder for the file
