How To Remove Stone Tonsils?

Gargle warm salt water (1/2–1 tsp salt in a cup of warm water) 2–4 times daily

Use a water flosser on a low/soft setting directed at the tonsil area

Gently remove visible tonsil stones with a cotton swab after gargling

Use a clean soft toothbrush to lightly brush the tonsil surface

Stay hydrated and drink water regularly

Practice good oral hygiene: brush teeth and tongue twice daily

Floss daily to reduce food debris

Use an alcohol-free antiseptic mouthwash if recommended by your dentist/ENT

Manage post-nasal drip/allergies (saline nasal rinses, allergy treatment as advised)

Avoid smoking and alcohol-based mouthwashes if they worsen dryness

See an ENT if stones are frequent, large, painful, or associated with bad breath despite home care

Seek urgent care if you have trouble swallowing, breathing difficulty, fever, severe one-sided throat pain, or rapidly worsening symptoms
