Open Instagram and tap the camera or plus icon
Swipe through the effects at the bottom of the camera screen
Tap Browse Effects to search for more filters
Use the search bar to find a specific filter name, creator, or keyword
Tap a filter to preview it
Tap Try It or Save to use the filter later
Check Reels and Stories for filters used by other accounts
Tap the effect name at the top of a Story or Reel to open it
Tap Save Effect to add it to your camera
Visit a creator’s profile and open the Effects tab if available
Look in the effect tray while creating a Story, Reel, or post
Update Instagram if filters are not appearing
