Heat a skillet over medium-high heat
Add a thin layer of oil to the skillet
Let the oil heat until shimmering
Place one corn tortilla in the skillet
Fry for 15 to 30 seconds
Flip the tortilla
Fry the other side for 15 to 30 seconds
Flip again if needed until lightly crisp and golden
Remove the tortilla from the skillet
Drain on paper towels
Repeat with the remaining tortillas
