Let the glue cool and harden completely
Place the fabric in the freezer for 15 to 30 minutes if possible
Gently peel or scrape off the hardened glue with a dull knife, spoon, or credit card
Check the clothing care label before using heat or solvents
Put a paper towel, parchment paper, or clean cloth under the glued area
Use a warm iron on low heat over a cloth or paper towel to soften the glue
Lift softened glue away as it transfers to the paper towel or cloth
Repeat with a fresh paper towel or cloth if needed
Apply rubbing alcohol to any remaining residue with a cotton ball or cloth
Gently rub the area until the residue loosens
Wash the garment according to the care label
Air-dry the clothing and check that the glue is fully removed before using a dryer
Repeat the process if any glue remains
Test any solvent on a hidden area first if the fabric is delicate or colored
