Blot up as much urine as possible with paper towels or clean cloths
Press firmly; do not rub

Mix equal parts white vinegar and water
Lightly spray or dab the affected area with the vinegar solution
Blot again with a clean towel
Sprinkle baking soda over the damp area
Let it sit until fully dry
Vacuum up the baking soda
If odor remains, use an enzymatic cleaner made for pet urine
Follow the product instructions exactly
Let the couch air-dry completely
Repeat the process if needed
Test any cleaning solution on a hidden spot first
Avoid soaking the couch
Use fans to speed drying
