Ask for STD or STI testing
Choose tests based on your sexual activity and symptoms

Provide a urine sample, blood sample, or swab sample as directed
Follow any instructions about not urinating before a urine test
Avoid sex until you get your results if you have symptoms or possible exposure

Get treated right away if any test is positive
