Clean the wall thoroughly and let it dry completely
Remove nails, hooks, outlet covers, and any loose debris
Fill holes and smooth rough spots
Measure the wall and cut wallpaper panels with extra length
Mark a straight vertical guideline with a level
Peel back a small section of the backing at the top
Align the first panel with the guideline
Press the top edge onto the wall
Slowly peel more backing while smoothing the wallpaper downward
Use a smoothing tool or cloth to remove bubbles and wrinkles
Keep the pattern aligned with each new panel
Overlap or butt seams according to the product instructions
Trim excess wallpaper at the ceiling, baseboard, and edges with a sharp blade
Reposition carefully if needed before pressing firmly
Reinstall outlet covers and hardware after the wallpaper is fully applied
