Open Instagram and go to your profile
Tap the menu icon in the top right
Go to Settings and privacy
Tap Privacy
Tap Account privacy
Switch to a Private account
To limit who can see your followers, remove unwanted followers
Go to your followers list
Find the person you want to remove
Tap Remove next to their name
Block specific users if you do not want them to see your profile
Go to the user’s profile
Tap the menu icon
Tap Block
Restrict interactions from specific users if needed
Go to the user’s profile
Tap the menu icon
Tap Restrict
Hide your activity status if you want less visibility
Go to Settings and privacy
Tap Messages and story replies
Tap Show activity status
Turn it off
Make your following list less visible by avoiding public interactions
Remove tags and mentions from others if needed
