Verify vehicle compatibility with the remote start kit
Gather the required tools, wiring diagrams, and installation instructions
Disconnect the negative battery terminal
Remove necessary interior panels to access ignition, starter, and accessory wiring
Mount the remote start control module securely
Connect the power, ground, ignition, starter, accessory, and brake wires according to the wiring diagram
Install any required bypass module for factory immobilizer or security system
Connect the hood pin switch if included
Connect the tachometer or engine sense wire if required
Mount the antenna or receiver in the recommended location
Reconnect the battery
Program the remote start module and remotes
Test lock, unlock, remote start, shutdown, and safety features
Reinstall all removed panels and secure all wiring
Verify the vehicle starts and shuts off properly with the remote start system
