Gather the required tools, wiring diagram, and installation kit
Disconnect the negative battery terminal
Remove the necessary dash panels and steering column covers
Locate the ignition, starter, accessory, constant power, and ground wires
Identify the vehicle-specific immobilizer or security system requirements
Connect the remote starter module wiring to the vehicle harness
Install any required bypass module
Mount the remote starter module securely
Connect the parking light, brake, tachometer, and hood pin wires if required
Make all power and ground connections securely
Reconnect the battery
Program the remote starter according to the manufacturer instructions
Test lock, unlock, remote start, shutdown, and safety functions
Verify the vehicle starts only when safe conditions are met
Reinstall all removed panels and trim
Secure and insulate all wiring
Confirm proper operation of all vehicle systems after installation
