Remove existing grass, plants, rocks, and debris
Excavate the area to the required depth
Install edging or border restraints
Compact the subgrade
Add a crushed stone or decomposed granite base
Spread the base evenly
Compact the base thoroughly
Check and adjust slope for drainage
Install weed barrier fabric if needed
Roll out the artificial turf
Let the turf acclimate and relax
Trim the turf to fit the area
Align turf seams and fibers in the same direction
Join seams with seam tape and adhesive
Secure the turf with landscape staples or nails around the perimeter
Brush the turf fibers upright
Apply infill evenly across the surface
Brush the infill into the turf
Inspect for wrinkles, gaps, or loose edges
Trim and secure any remaining edges
Rinse and clean the finished surface
