Chicken pieces
Soy sauce
Vinegar
Garlic
Bay leaves
Whole black peppercorns
Water
Sugar
Cooking oil
Salt
Marinate chicken in soy sauce, garlic, and peppercorns
Heat oil in a pan

Add sugar and salt
