3 ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 cup melted butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
Preheat oven to 350°F
Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan
Mix mashed bananas and melted butter in a bowl
Stir in sugar, egg, and vanilla
Add baking soda and salt
Mix in flour until just combined
Fold in nuts
Pour batter into loaf pan
Bake for 50 to 60 minutes
Check doneness with a toothpick
Cool in pan for 10 minutes
Remove from pan and cool completely
