How to Make Crispy Oven Chips?

Preheat the oven to 220°C / 425°F

Peel the potatoes if desired

Cut the potatoes into even chip-shaped pieces

Rinse the cut potatoes in cold water

Soak the potatoes in cold water for 20 to 30 minutes

Drain the potatoes well

Dry the potatoes thoroughly with a clean towel

Toss the potatoes with oil, salt, and any seasonings

Spread the potatoes in a single layer on a baking tray

Leave space between the chips

Bake for 20 minutes

Turn the chips over

Bake for another 15 to 25 minutes until golden and crisp

Serve immediately
