How To Make Faluda?

Soak 1 tablespoon basil seeds (sabja) in water for 10 to 15 minutes until swollen

Cook 1 to 2 tablespoons falooda sev in boiling water until soft, then drain and cool

Chill 2 cups milk and sweeten it with sugar to taste

Add a little rose syrup to the milk and mix well

Place soaked basil seeds in serving glasses

Add the cooked falooda sev over the basil seeds

Pour the sweetened rose milk into the glasses

Add a scoop of vanilla or kulfi ice cream on top

Garnish with chopped nuts, tutti frutti, or more rose syrup if desired

Serve immediately while cold
