2 cups confectioners sugar
1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 to 4 tablespoons milk or heavy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Beat butter until smooth
Add confectioners sugar gradually
Add milk or cream one tablespoon at a time
Add vanilla extract and salt
Beat until light and fluffy
Add more milk for thinner frosting
Add more confectioners sugar for thicker frosting
