Choose wide ribbon, at least 2 to 4 inches
Cut a long length of ribbon, usually 6 to 10 feet
Make two large loops on each side
Cross the loops in the center
Pinch the center tightly
Wrap floral wire, pipe cleaner, or thin ribbon around the center
Twist or tie securely at the back
Fluff and adjust the loops
Trim the ribbon tails diagonally or into V shapes
Add extra layers or loops for a fuller bow
Use wired ribbon for easier shaping
Secure the bow to a gift, wreath, or package with wire or tape
