Cut a length of elastic string
Thread 10 beads onto the string
Bring the ends together to form a circle
Tie a secure knot
Thread 2 beads onto one side
Cross the string to the opposite side through the next bead
Repeat on all five points to shape the star
Tighten the string after each section
Tie off the ends securely
Trim any excess string
Repeat to make more stars
