Place the fabric in the hoop or frame
Separate the floss into strands as needed
Thread the needle
Start with a waste knot or loop method
Follow the pattern one stitch at a time
Keep stitches in the same direction
Secure the thread on the back when finished
Trim excess thread
Wash and press the finished piece if needed
