How to Make Tabouli?

Rinse 1 cup fine bulgur wheat

Soak the bulgur in 1 cup boiling water for 15 to 20 minutes

Drain any excess water and fluff with a fork

Finely chop 2 to 3 bunches parsley

Finely chop 2 to 3 tomatoes

Finely chop 4 to 6 green onions

Chop a small handful of fresh mint

Combine the parsley, tomatoes, green onions, and mint in a bowl

Add the bulgur to the bowl

Add 1/4 cup olive oil

Add 3 to 4 tablespoons lemon juice

Add salt to taste

Add black pepper to taste

Mix well

Chill before serving

Serve with lettuce leaves or pita bread
