How to Make Watergate Salad?

1 package (3.4 oz) instant pistachio pudding mix

1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, undrained

1 cup mini marshmallows

1 cup chopped pecans

1 container (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed

Optional: maraschino cherries for garnish

In a large bowl, stir together the pudding mix and crushed pineapple until combined

Fold in the mini marshmallows and chopped pecans

Gently fold in the whipped topping until evenly mixed

Chill for at least 1 hour before serving

Garnish with maraschino cherries if desired
