On PC, press F to swap the selected item with your offhand
On Bedrock, open inventory and drag the item to the offhand slot
On console, use the inventory screen to move the item to the offhand slot
On mobile, open inventory and place the item in the offhand slot if supported
Use the offhand item automatically with the appropriate control
