Find or craft watermelon seeds
Till grass or dirt with a hoe
Make sure the farmland is next to water
Plant the watermelon seeds on the farmland
Leave one empty dirt or farmland block beside the planted stem for the watermelon to grow
Wait for the stem to mature
Harvest the grown watermelon blocks with your hand or any tool
Collect the watermelon slices
Replant seeds if needed
