Defeat the Ender Dragon in the End
Collect the Dragon Egg that appears on top of the exit portal
Use a piston to push the Dragon Egg
Or place a torch under the block the Dragon Egg is on and break the supporting block so it drops as an item
Pick up the Dragon Egg item if it drops
Place the Dragon Egg in your base or display area
